Project Description
Russian Library & Community Information Centre is a voice of the community and its main mission to support and promote cultural life and historical heritage of the Russian-speaking community in Canada.
They contacted us, to rebuild their old website, which was dated and difficult to maintain/update. They have a lot of information to share – announcements about new books and magazines, community events, book reviews, business information, information for New Immigrants and much more. All this data has to be posted and displayed on the website under different categories. The newly developed website had to be informative and user friendly.
The requirements were:
- Ability to update the website frequently with new, fresh content
- The site had to be built in such a way, that the website owner would be able to maintain the site herself. It had to be easy, without running the risk of “breaking” the site
Result:
- Fully manageable by the website owner, provides the ability to post information under different categories
- Nice and clean design
- Easy user-friendly navigation
